YonKaGor has always been one to challenge norms in love music, such as focusing on the more uncomfortable topics such as manipulation, heartbreak, and straight up identity crisis. YonKaGor’s “Main Songs” showcases how he’s grown over the years, from his early song “I forgot that you exist” to “I still create”, all these songs showcase how amazing he is at creating music.
YonKaGor’s “Main Songs” was released in 2025 and features songs in all genres! There’s something for everyone!
This album makes me slightly proud to see how far Yon has gone and how good he is at making and singing music.
Yon is 26, born in Canada, sings only original songs, sings in all genres, he is a pretty small creator, and this is his only album.
Yon more or less made this album for his fans, and deals with heartbreak and once again shows how big Yon has grown.
Yon’s album is catchy, makes you sad, angry, and shows just how good the trumpet can make a song (Memory merge my beloved)
Yon’s album really emphasizes how different people deal and cope with heartbreak, giving listeners a better view into how some people think and feel when going through those emotions, such as in “Fallacy”, how the person wants revenge, or in “Memory Merge” how the person just feels confused rather than angry.
Yon is a very emotional singer which goes perfectly with all of his songs.
The three songs that I chose to review are as follows: “Memory Merge” which has amazing trumpets and really showcases how hurt the person is after being emotionally manipulated by the one person that they loved. “I still create”, Yon’s newest song, which tells of a person going through imposter syndrome and never feeling like the work they do is enough. “Your’e just like pop music” which has extremely catchy lyrics and melody (I still find myself singing and humming this to myself despite this song not even being my favorite) and deals with the aftermath of someone realizing that the person they were obsessed with didn’t feel the same way.
Sadly, the recurring theme of heartbreak honestly gets a bit repetitive after a bit but honestly doesn’t ruin the mood that much.
Listen to YonKaGor, he’s so peak. 10/10
